Cara Cara emergency advice?

The good and the bad....Yesterday I ate my first ever home-grown Cara Cara and it was delicious. Today my cat tried an acrobatic move and broke off a branch. Is there any way to save the branch? If not, how should I treat the wound? (Anyone want a free cat? ;)
I appreciate the wisdom of experts!

If you know how to graft you could graft the branch back onto the tree. If not, just leave the wound alone and the tree will heal itself. - S-

I'd leave it alone and move on. It will heal and possibly push new growth from that point. It isn't going to hurt the tree at all. Just my humble opinion.
