| I'm interested in attempting to grow a kumquat plant from a seed (I'm not terribly worried about it not fruiting, I just hear that it makes a good potted plant, so I thought it would be fun).
My problem is I don't know where to get a seed. Does anyone have any suggestions for where to find one this time? |

| Look first in the produce section of an upscale supermarket; they often have kumquats, but you have to look closely or ask. The local fruits probably won't be ready to harvest or get seeds for a cupla months. The problem with growing them from seed is that the root, like a Meyer grown from seed, is kinda weak; but that's not a big problem for a potted plant. |
