Beauty---full of lemons tree. Sorry to see it is time to take the trees in. My citrus trees are planted outside permanently in the ground. so I will have to put the greenhouse around them. I can only show pictures of one tree as my Photobucket account keeps accusing me of being too popular to display my images.

That's a beauty! How in the world do you lift that tree? And I would die for windows that tall to put a tree that tall in front off..Nice.

Do you ever loose leaves, especially teh top ones that will not get direct sun? Or they just stay that nice green color? Does your tree actively grow all winter or does it sort of slow down?
Again, how in the world did you lift that? lol Love it. Maybe I will let mine get that big for one window)

Hi Mike, I have a very light mix so it is not that heavy , and a very understanding, lovely wife, that lets me keep all my plants in our home. I had to prune quite a bit to get it in the house.There is growth throughout the fall and winter albeit slower. The leaves do stay green with little loss ,it is a great southern exposure! I do mist a few times a week when the heat is on because the forced air keeps the humidity lower. It seems to work. I also foliage feed occasionally. I am amazed it is still blooming , love that foliage pro! Thanks for the compliment.

I have the main south wall of the GH completed. The roof has double layer glass and will get 2 more layers to resist the rise of heat. The east wall has double glass and will get 2 layers of 0.3 mill painters plastic. The west wall will be built in a week, after all the trees and soil surface insulation has been placed. I have got all the 30 gallon trees inside with about 8 Hardy Chicago fig cutting, now 2 months old in various state of development, to be added. The bigger pair are in a bucket light setup. The other 2 get sunlight/clouds. The link connects to a video of my GH and trees to date 10-14-14.

I've just brought all my little ones in for the winter. They in ceramic tall pots about 8inch wide (I think) my large grapefruit is in the poly tunnel for now. I'll keep that out as long as possible.
