My potted Cara Cara

Here's a photo of one of my 3 rooftop nursery Cara Cara oranges. For size reference that is a standard brick 3 inches by 8 inches that is holding up that huge fruit; it is beginning to get a hint of color. I can't wait to taste it when it gets ripe (probably December; although they do get ripe here in Guatemala at other times of the year). There are 9 other smaller fruits on the tree and it has a couple of new flowers.
BTW it is 15 months from planting as a nursery plant; and it is on Macrophylla rootstock.

Look at you john. expanding your collection beyond meyers and in containers too. Im proud of you.

Looks great. Hows the weather down there?
My meyers are turning and its just about time to pick them.

How's the weather??? Guatemala City, where this rooftop nursery is located, is known as the City of Eternal Springtime. Houses here don't have heating or air conditioning. My lemon farms, however, are mostly in the South coast, where it is hot!!! FYI, I have about 15 varieties of other citrus at my lemon farm; but they don't quite get the TLC that my home nursery gets.

Great growing, John!
I had to stake a couple of my Moro fruits...was just too worried they'd break the branches! I'm starting to see some color now. But I sure wish they were as large as your Cara Cara!
