The lemons on my tree started to turn yellow about a month ago
then stopped they have been yellow green for sometime and show no sign of turning further ? Live in north Texas the weather is still warm but winter is closing fast. Am I doing something wrong?. Using a low nitrogen fert. on it this year could that be the prob.

Why would you use a low nitrogen fertilizer on a citrus tree, when citrus are high nitrogen users? Certainly next year, I would use a correct citrus fertilizer, jp. And, if your tree is young, it will take a bit for it to finish maturing its fruits. Like all other lemons, you'll see all stages of fruiting on the tree at once, from flowers, to new little fruit, maturing fruits and mature fruits.

they'll yellow up around Thanksgiving, when it gets colder.

Slightly off topic...
I purchased a Moro with a fruit on it, when should I expect it to be ripe?

It could be the first yellow you saw was sunburn. The green lemon would only turn yellow in in one spot say about the size of quarter more or less if it is sunburn. I had sunburn this year for the first time.

my Moro ripened around December.

Doglips, my Moros are ripe from about January through April here in S. California.
