| I just bought a Meyer lemon tree from Lowes, i wanted to know how long can i leave the tree in a 3 1/2 Gal container? it is about 6 ft tall and has lots of buds.

| With a winter protection, your tree should be fine planted in the ground. Plant it id you can. |

| If you're leaving it in a container, that's a bit small for a 6' tall tree. I would be more inclined to pot it up into a 15 gal container, but I'll defer to our container citrus experts. Patty S. |

| its probably close to being root bound if it isn't already. what do you plan for the meyer? in ground or in pot? do you want it to get big? |
