My Kandy Korn is just starting to tassel, but the tassels are frizzy looking and hooking over at the top. To me this looks like not enough watering, but this corn is getting watered every other day, lots of water...and once a day for a couple of days when the weather was really hot). There were a few days when I missed the every other day routine and I could see the corn plants were stressed, that was about two weeks before the first tassel showed. Could the tassel appearance be the result of those few days of water stress, or does it look like something else.
