| hi, I just talking to my friend in California who has many dwarf citrus trees and he was surprised that I got citrus in Winnipeg, other than that he a a gold nugget mandarin that I wanted so would there be a way to ship it to me? I was thinking that he could cut it put it on a wet paper towel inside a zip loc bag and send to me would that work?
Thanks |

| I don't see why not. I've had dealers to ship me plants and other items exactly as you said. |

| There are numerous international laws regulating shipment of plants, plant products, etc. This is to protect plants in many areas from invasive pests, such as citrus greening, laurel wilt disease, etc. The documents were probably phytosanitary certificates, which you get after an inspection of the plants you want to ship, that certify the plants are free from disease, insect pests, etc. |

| tasty, my friend in vancouver said that she bought Monrovia citrus at a local nursery a few years ago. So, you might want to contact Monrovia and ask them who they sell through in Canada. It might turn out to be a lot cheaper than shipping from the US. |
