How do you know it's one year old? Do you mean you've had it for one year?

Had it for year nursery said it was a year old when got it so,guess its 2. Got it from fast going trees off Amazon.

My meiwa sits in its container. Nice and green. Doesn't grow, doesn't drop leaves, doesn't flower. Might as well be plastic. Congrats on your fruit!

Kumquats are a lot of fun in containers. On mine the branches are falling over due to the weight of the fruit. It just had another flush of blooms recently. It will likely come inside the house in a few weeks.

Nice little tree, Trace. Remember, it is a year new to you, but at least 2 to 3 years in the pot at the grower. Still, it looks very happy and healthy enough to produce fruit for you. Enjoy :-)

Nice little tree Tcamp - you are in for a treat if you have never had a meiwa, little seedy though. Dave that looks really good. How do you rate those compared to meiwa

Yep Ryanlo thanks ryan it gave me 2 kumquats last year as a sample lol. This year it has about 50 the 2 last year where very sweet with a musky taste. Almost like a citrus melon but was good.
