can you over feed citrus?

Just curious, can you over feed citrus during the active growing season? All else (water and sun) remaining constant. I have been really aggressively feeding the citrus from March through September in Tucson. They look good, so maybe I answered my own question. I had some new growth that was misshapen and had read that it may have been due to over fertilizing.

you can over feed any plant.

a common sign is leaf dmg/salt burn.

Don't know what kinda citrus, what rootstock, where you live, what kinda ferts are you using and how much.... and a thousand other questions. Photos would help a lot.

What I do know a little about is Meyer lemons; and I have found it nearly impossible to over fertilize them. I have done it in field trials where I applied large amounts of ferts 5 times per year; but in practicality, at least for inground Meyers, feed them, feed them, and then feed them again
