Calamondin plant help

Hello everyone,

I need some help or guidance. I'm usually good with plants but I'm not sure what's going on with this one. I just bought a. Calamondin plant this Wednesday. It look a little sad, but the gardener said it only needed a little water. Well its been a couple of days and it looks worse. It has lost a few leafs stems holding fruit now look black instead of green. So my question is, did it go into a enviromental change shock? Did winter start to settle on it? Or was I just sold a dying plant?

Should I prune the black branches ? Hold back on watering ?

Any tips or suggestions are welcomed.
