My meyer lemon is turning yellow :o)...do I need to wait till the whole fruit is completely yellow before picking? This one has some greenish marbling still...didn't know if I could pick them this soon or better to wait till the whole fruit is completely yellow?

I don't know about the Satsuma, or whether it will color fully in your climate. The Meyer is definitely mature and ready to harvest; if you leave it longer on the tree, it may get a deeper yellow, especially if the weather gets cooler; but the inside will not get better. I would enjoy it now... if you have more than one fruit, harvest them when you are ready to enjoy them and leave the rest for later; a Meyer can be left on the tree for the next 4-5 months and will retain the same quality.

I have the same issue. Two are coloring up. One is green.

I would wait on the Satsuma, Nancy :-)
We don't begin harvesting ours until after a good cold snap, when the sweetness really increases. Our Mandarin Festival is the third week of November, and the fruit will be fine to pick in December.

My Meyers are starting to color, but experience from last year tells me to wait until at least December.

John, I'm excited to have many Meyers on my tree this year...Last year I only had 2 lol...long story but my blooms were attacked by bugs and I sprayed them to kill the bugs...needless to say the blooms all fell off **sigh*...but its making up for it this year. I have a lot to enjoy :o)
