I think your comment is funny, but I would not agree with that for myself. I like the cold and I like the heat that Cincinnati offers. John while you do your ML orchard I do a small garden. I grow concord grapes as an early crop, I grow concord grapes on the north side of my house for a mid crop. I have red haven peaches in different locations so that I get a picking span that stretches almost 3 months. My kiwis come late, My goose berries are mid season while my blueberries are of an august bearing variety, I pick my June/July blueberries at the orchard. My strawberries are in May While my hardy Chicago figs are ever-bearing from mid June till November. My sweet cherries are in different micro-zone from 5b to 7a Ripens over a 2 months for the same time ripening Cultivars.

The only reason that I am jealous of John is.

1) He knew what I had to be taught. "hold your thumb out at Arms length, rotate 360 degrees. If you don,t see it growing it probably doesn't belong there.

2) his wisdom to leave to go and start a new exciting life in an new county.

3) His ability to start and succeed in a major business adventure.

But not for his weather. He has no control over it.

Wow John, that is amazing, wish I could get whatever you're feeding your trees here in the states. I have never seen a cluster of lemons that beautiful in my life. Very well done!
