standard or semi dwarf Meyer lemon?

I live in the suburbs of Los Angeles, zone 9 or Sunset zone 19. We just remodeled our house and now I'm planting the gardens. Next to a patio I want to plant a Meyer lemon. The planter is 5 feet deep and on a SW facing wall of the house. I want to fill that blank wall space, so I would like it to get about 8-9 feet tall and about 6-8 feet wide.

I'm asking the question because of varying answers I've found as I've researched this. Some plant tags say the semi dwarf version gets 4-6 feet tall which is too small, other tags say 6-8 feet which is OK if it gets to the high end of that range. I've read that the standard Meyer is much smaller than other citrus, which might be just right for what I need.

So, should I get a semi dwarf or a standard? will the semi dwarf get big enough or should I go with a standard size and do some pruning? I would like to have a low branched plant to fill the space, which is what I find in semi-dwarf, I'm just not sure what will work best for my space.
