I am giving away my PT trees to a friend with a 2 aiker free range chicken farm along with donkeys and dwarf goats. My question is what damage would the small amount of manure from these passing animal have on this tree. My friend will not be feeding the manure to the trees. the trees will be fenced in so the goats and donkey cant get within 10 feet of the trees. I have read that manure is bad for these trees. Would an occasionally chicken passing be of harm. This tree will be planted in the ground and grafted with early satsuma varieties.
