dwarf pomegranate

this year i purchased several dwarf (Tabletop) citrus trees and a pomegranate tree. They were itty bitty this spring but have grown nicely. I have already moved them inside for the winter and everything looks great except for my pomegranate tree. the leaves are turning yellow and falling off. my question is this..do pomegranates shed their leaves like any other deciduous tree or is it in need of something? should i fertilize my trees while overwintering inside or should I wait until the spring? they get plenty of natural sunlight during the day or artificial light on the rare cloudy day. thanks
