How do you propagate Navel Oranges

Can you propagate Navel Oranges by rooting cuttings or Air Layering or is it more involved than that?

Yes, both of those methods will work. However, most orange trees are grafted/budded to a rootstock, since sweet orange roots are quite susceptible to phythophthora root rot and foot/crown rot. Grafting onto a resistant rootstock solves that problem.

Just a quick question..

Does this rot you speak of happen to container grown trees as well, or just in ground?
