Red Nules is patented - you will never find it available unless you are a commercial citrus grower. The patent is owned by the parent company of Willits & Newcomb.

The Israeli Jaffa Pomlit might be available through the UC Riverside's CCPP program, so check to see if they have budwood available. I know they have a couple of these trees in the UC RIverside Citrus Variety Collection, but not sure if they've decided to provide clean budwood. You'd have to learn to graft citrus, to get this variety in California (not sure where you live). Same with Sarah orange. Valquarius I believe, is strictly a Florida variety, and most likely not found outside of Florida, and probably not available to non-commercial citrus growers, but you could check with Harris Citrus in FL. They would know.

Any reason why you are desperately after these varieties? Plenty of excellent alternatives to these (with the exception of Red Nules - we just do not have any pigmented mandarins avaliable in the USA that I am aware of, outside the commercial growing arena).

Like I said it's the fruit I'm after not the plants.

Why am I desperate for fruit? Because I want rare things and don't care about patents besides the fact that I respect the not distrubuting plants part.

I am capable of tissue culture. Give me a fruit and I'll have the plant. It's legal to use patented varities as parents of new plants as long as specific genes are not patented.

I do not live in a quarentined state.
