My semi dwarf has been planted in a pot for 4 years. Each year loads of fruit, perfectly formed, juicy, but not sweet. Can anything be done to improve the sweetness of the fruit?

Why not plant it in the ground where the tree can then root into a large amount of soil to ensure it gets the needed micro-nutrients. My guess is that the tree does not have the leaf quantities needed to produce the sugars needed for the quantity of fruit the tree has. Can you post a picture please.
