How to save my dying lemon tree

wyzhao

I love this lemon tree so much but it seems to be dying!

The leaves are wilted, drying and falling (please see the picture).

We had cold weather for a week (lowest 26 F ). Is it because of coldness or frost?

The tree may be over watered (every two days) and we have clay soil.

What can be the possible cause? How to remedy it?

Appreciate your help!

Unless you live in the desert, stop watering and wait. Lemon trees don't go that cold with out damage. My guess is that it will come out next spring. Read what other have to say.
