Key lime seedling finally had a flower. Question.

Hello,

My largest key lime seedling finally developed a flower, but my wintering conditions are not that great inside the house so it didn't actually open. Plants are dropping leaves. Hopefully the trees will make it till spring and be back out in the sun porch and then outside. I am hoping for more flowers when it gets nice outside again.

I have 2 calamondin seedlings that are currently residing in my unheated sunporch and seem to be ok. Is it possible to graft something onto them since they have never flowered? The trees are about 3 feet tall and not too big as far as the trunk. I do have a meyer lemon that flowers nicely. Or maybe the key lime?

I was going to toss them since I have no more room inside, but maybe I can do something with them in the spring instead.

thanks,

Mike
