Would using Foliage Pro make fruit gigantic?

I used Foliage Pro a couple of times on my potted citrus. I bought it specifically for my Meyer Lemon but gave it to my other citrus two times, I think. One of my Satsuma tangerine trees produced 8 gigantic fruits. They are the size of the homegrown grapefruits a friend gave me. My other Satsuma has fruit that are unusually large also but they aren't quite ready yet.

We had some unusual heat early this summer. I'm thinking that might have contributed also.

The fruit has a very puffy peel which I normally associate with Satsuma but it is a pretty thicker than usual peel and there's a lot of the pithy white membrane. Good flavor fruit but not quite a juicy as the Satsumas my mother grows in the ground. She is more inland from me so her temps tend to be hotter.

Any thoughts? Too much fertilizer? I'd rather have a smaller juicier fruit with less membrane.
