Two questions

The only floor dry product that napa sells here in Canada #628. It says diatomite on the back. This is the same as napa floor dry #8822 right?

Second question: I have been using a horticultural oil for pests. It says safe for fruit trees on the back but there is also a poison sign on the front. Do products like this enter into fruit if sprayed? And is it safe to eat fruit which has been sprayed with this product?

As long as your horticultural oil has no added ingredients other than emulsifiers and inserts, it is safe for use on your edible plants. Horticultural oils are never absorbed into the vascular system of a plant.

Be sure to read the directions on the label carefully, make sure that you understand the directions and are able to follow them.

Some oil products also combine chemical pesticides of one kind or another. If so, it will be clearly labeled with very explicit directions. If you'd like to email me the listed ingredients, I'll be happy to put your mind at ease.
