wanted: looking for cuttings of anything local to salem, nh

I have been unemployed for about a year and find myself with nothing to do except gardening (which I love so I don't mind at all). I can't afford to buy plants or spend too much on gas. So I was wondering if anyone within 50 miles of Salem, NH could spare some cuttings or plants to make my garden a bit better. I admit I am pretty useless when it comes to rooting or preparing something to ship. But I am learning. I have some roses (pink, red) some clematis (purple, blue, pink) as well as some pretty nice daylilies which I bought when I had the money. Some daylilies I have are fuji, some reds, purples, soft pinks, yellow with purple centers and a host of different ones as well as the naturalized orange flowers that grow abundant to this area.
I'm not looking for a handout, but if you have any ideas I would welcome them.
