WANTED: looking for double rooted clematis

I have several clematis,and have tried to root or grow more from their seed,with no luck,I have tried everything I can think of,anyone with luck please tell me how you do it, right now I am looking for some rooted double clematis,I could trade sevral different kinds of seeds(maybe you can root them....thank you....sunset 49424 zone 5

RE: WANTED: looking for double rooted clematis

You have to take end cutting in June,cut at node. Remove lower leaves dip in rooting hormones and gently insert into pot of good starter potting mix. do not force make a hole with a small rod just larger than your cutting. Firm the soil and keep moist. A clear plastic bag over it works well to retain heat and humidity.
