Clematis for a more narrow spot

In a nut shell, I put Rooguchi next to a 2 year old Old Garden Rose called Reine des Violettes. Rooguchi ended up being WAY too vigorous for the rose. Additionally, there is not a particularly wide space for the clematis. I would like to choose a smaller clematis for this spot, it can get up to about 5-6 feet tall but not particularly wide. Is this possible? Would any of these work?

Chinook
Gazelle
Juuli
Savannah
viticella Justa

Thanks!

RE: Clematis for a more narrow spot

I have a similar need for a clematis for a small space. I just ordered Justa viticella from Silver Star Vinery and am hoping it works out fine. The description says "Justa is a real blooming machine with Light Blue toned flowers with a violet-blue bar. Stays compact so it is does well in a large pot." 4-6' high and I'm assuming narrow. www.clematis.pl.com says "Particularly useful for container growing, on small supports or where space is limited."
