Clematis for my zone 10

Hello, this is khabbab from lahore, pakistan. My climate is subtropical semi arid. And our summers are extremely hot around 110F while mild winters not below 5C. Is there any clematis which will take our summer heat? I want to grow from seed and would like it to flower at most in second year.

According to Brushwood Nursery, clematis viticella will grow in a warmer zone 11. Also, according to Clematis on the Web, it grows wild in Spain and Italy - I am not positive, but I believe that they would also be semi arid. In his book "Trouble Free Clematis the Viticellas", John Howells says that clematis viticella is "a garden worthy plant". I have never grown a clematis from seed so I don't know anything about how easy it is to do so or how long it takes a seed grown plant to bloom. I am sure there are many more experienced clematis growers who could advise you about that. Maybe others will also have more suggestions for you.
