Thanks for looking at it. The plants were nice, especially Miquel Viso. I could probably have planted it straight away, but I decided to keep them in the greenhouse for now.

They are both doing well, but I need to cut the vines back now, I suspect because Miguel Viso had a second bloom on it that I didn't notice until it opened.

My Omoshiro had a bud on it when I received it also. I knew I should pinch it off but of course I couldn't. It's about open now.

Mine looked very like that the day it arrived. It is open now too of course. I can never pinch a bud that is almost opened when a clematis arrives...I know I should but I can't. Omoshirsa are lovely, aren't they?

I really like Omoshiro. I'm looking forward to seeing the mature plant in bloom.

I noted that my Omoshira bloom was rather short lived. Was yours that way? On the other hand, the Miguel Viso blooms are still beautiful. I am impressed with how long these blooms look perfect.

I agree. Mine was starting to look old so I pinched off so the plant could use the energy elsewhere.
