For years I have been bringing back from England rolls of very light weight green plastic-coated garden wire. It seems to be common in the UK; I found it in any garden center that I went to. I can't find in the US anywhere. All I see is very heavy weight wire (at Lowes) or nasty green twist ties. I use this wire on roses, clematis, almost anything. Has anyone seen anything similar in the US or on a web site? I've tried some google searches but haven't found anything suitable.

Due to cuts in travel budgets, I'm not likely to be back in the UK anytime soon, alas.

I posted this to the Clematis forum on the theory that enthusiasts of climbing vines might have thoughts on this topic. If a different forum is more appropriate, please let me know.
