Hi lindalana! I have 3 clems that are showing buds now! Yay! I don't have leaves yet, but they'll come. I know it now. They survived their first winter here in the ground. I am planting 4 more clems soon. The ones I have are Crystal Fountain, Joshephine, and Franziska Maria. I am planting Dr Ruppel, Beauty of Worcester, Henryi, and Rebecca soon.

I haven't checked mine. I find myself lacking enthusiasm this year or at least I'm doing a very good job of tempering it. After a very long winter, and the eternal cold and rain we've had since the snow melt, we're getting another snow/wind event on Sunday and Monday. Bah.

Today is forecasted to be a whopping 46 degrees with sunshine and light winds. I should take advantage of the "nice" weather to prune.

If I remember correctly, the OP lives near me in Skokie, and I've got tons of new growth at this point, even with the cold week. Spring is around the corner...

It's coming, slooooooowly. Hopefully our slow start to spring will mean we won't get any late frosts.
