An Old Clematis Blooming at Last

gldno1

I planted this clematis so long ago, I don't remember where I bought it or what it is! It has been suggested as Pink champagne. Each year it would come up, a spindly thing that would be maybe three feet tall with nary a bloom.

I was out back checking the apricot tree when this caught my eye!.

I have never had a clematis take that long....in the same area is Westerplatte that hasn't done fantastically well either but at least it has a few blooms each year. Makes me wonder what about that ramp area?

and how she looks today,

and this shows the bluish tinge when the blooms first open,

Any suggestions as to variety? (clickables, all)

Whatever it is, it was worth waiting for!
