| I have an evergreen clematis - armandii?? (the one with long leathery leaves). It is through flowering and the vine is now full of the flower stems only. Can I cut or snap these stems off to tidy it up? |

| Yes, you can deadhead the spent flower stems. |

| I also remove the flowered stems & then fertilize. I fertilize once a month through the growing season. In fall I apply some root stimulator to my young clematis. |
