Five years in her pot and loving it still

Asao is five years old and still doing what she does best. She loves being in a flower pot. I quess she likes being in a container because she keeps going and going. She's always my first bloomer. I gave my mom today a one year old Asao that I rooted from this parent plant by layering one of the vines and it took root and it has 5 large blooms on it as of today. Sandy

This is really good to know because I have a rootbound clem in a pot. I need to give it a bigger home and I do not have a place for it right now--except a bigger pot. She looks beautiful!

She certainly looks very happy there. My Asoa is in the ground, next to a potted Dawn. There is always a race to bloom first. Last year Dawn won. Both have lots of buds now, much earlier than usual.

Excellent display. Mine is in a pot too. I'll stop feeling guilty for not giving it a home in the ground.

Gorgeous! Could people tell me what size pots they use? I'm supposed to plant my baby clems in pots until they're larger. Size in either inches or cm welcome. Plastic would be best to keep them moist in a hot z8b summer, don't you think? They are currently in 2"-4" pots, inside a larger pot with dirt to keep them moist. Thx so much!
