| Best time is spring, but I move them throughout the growing season then pay close attention to their moisture needs. |

| I've decided Roguchi is the toughest of them all. Some workman putting in a new foundation for my garage managed to drive over Roguchi about a dozen time with their heavy equipment. This was during the hot mid-summer, and I couldn't really water the poor plant even for several weeks. After the workman finished, I gave the plant a deep watering, and about a week later decided to move it to a better spot. Remember, this was during hot mid-summer. I figured the plant was a goner anyway, so what the heck--though I did try to keep a close eye on its water needs. Not only did Roguchi survive all that abuse, but this year it is absolutely thriving in its new home. I have a great deal of respect for the endurance of Roguchi! Kate |
