| Last night we attended our monthly Garden Club meeting and there is a clematis planted by the entrance that I've got to have. The ID tag showed it was "Mr. President" and its blooms are hugh. Need to do some research to see what group it is in. Got to have that to replace my Comtesse de Bouchard that is dying for some reason. Oh my, was that a beauty! and close by it had some variety of deep purple salvia planted in a large mass..didn't have time to look at that ID label but from afar, it looked like it might be Cardoon or East Friesland. Will go back there and look again. |
