I've got a purpurea elegans (doing nicely thank you,last year was climbing the Christmas lights twenty feet up). It's kind of understated and I'd like to brighten it up a bit with another clematis growing intertwined. I would think that a hot pink like a Princess Diana or some such would work. It would have to have small flowers. Anyone try something like this and would share their experience. Rather than talking to God two years down the road, I would love to shortcut the process.
