Huldine in part shade?

I would dearly love to have a Huldine, but the only place I have that would give it room to run gets only morning sun, maybe 3 or 4 hours. Could it work there and give me some decent blooms?

I have never grown Huldine but my Timber Press guide to Clematis says Huldine is suitable for full sun or part shade.

Any clematis needs at least 6 hours to really perform at its max..Clematis "Huldine" is no exception..I have two one in alot of sun..and it performs magnificiently..My other one is in filtered light until about 3pm and while he does grow up and bloom isn't near as floriferious as the one in more sun...I think if you give him less than 6 hours..be it morning or afternoon..you & your Clem won't be as happy...Jeanne
