Yesterday the Westerplatte clematis started blooming. Yesterday there was only 1 bloom open; today there are 9 or 10 blooms on it. Dr. Ruppel started blooming today, with one bloom. Bet there will be a lot more tomorrow. I could kick myself because I didn't pay attention to how fast they were growing after Mr. B prunned and fed them in mid March. I won't make that mistake next year plus I will buy a new trellis. Considering the black metal/ wroughtiron ones that you see in catalogs like Plow & Hearth and Gardener's supply, and other gardening catalogs.
