Crystal Fountain companion

I just put a just-purchased Crystal Fountain clematis in a pot on my patio. It is already a few feet high and has a number of buds on it. The information on the variety states that it is a spring blooming and late summer blooming variety. Is there another variety with a mid-summer bloom that I could add in the same pot? Thanks for your help!

How big is the pot? For Crystal Fountain alone it should be at least 18" wide. I would not plant two Clematis into the same pot.

The pot is 14" wide. I guess I will leave it by itself in the pot.
