I am not a frequent poster here on the Clematis forum, and I am a novice, but since none of the regulars have yet responded, I'll give you my thoughts.

If I am understanding you, your photo is of a clematis that you have and you want the ID so that you might plant more of the same?

I looked up 'Pastorale' on the COTW (Hull, UK) site and I don't think the 'Pastorale' is a very good match for your bloom. I don't see the maroon colored anthers on the 'Pastorale' photo.

I have what I think is "Elsa Spath" at my garage door trellis (I will try to include a pic) and that (whatever it is) looks like a better match.

If you want a duplicate plant, you might try _layering_ your existing plant. It is easy to do, but will take a bit of time. I layered some of mine plants last year and it seems to have worked. I want to get more roots established before I cut the new layered growth out, however. It is raining here, or I'd take a photo to show you.

Here is a link to 'Elsa Spath' for you. IIRC there is something distinctive about this clem so that you can better ID it -- perhaps the bar markings are a bit silvery or the leaf shape. Read about it and you'll probably come across that detail so that you can compare it to your plant. Best of luck and happy gardening!
