A bud is a bud, it can be named what every you want to name it::)

It'll be a lot easier to tell what she is when she blooms:) My Josephine (which I didn't order - it was a mislabel I kept because it is so vigorous) tends to get pinky on the outside before she blooms, but your buds may not have reached that stage yet. Please let us know when she does bloom.

The waiting can be unbearable, huh :) Gardening teaches us patience.... My carnabe bloomed for the first time this year. I got a healthy number of blooms; this is the "creep year." So now I have to wait until next spring to see it "leap."
Fingers crossed that the bloom is what you want.
