I do not know the name of this clematis. I need to do some searching, but I moved it last fall from it's original spot. This color is as accurate as I can make it. The camera picked up a light blue color, but to my eyes it is a rather drab light blue/lavender. I think this photo shows it a prettier color than it really is. I also do not care for the flowers hanging down. You need to stand on your head to get the full picture. It does have a tall tower to climb.

Hagley Hybrid

I know Hagley might not be a favorite of many, but it is one I really like. I took this photo around 6:45 AM, and it was this deep color, probably because it had not been open very long. It does not get full sun all day - morning and very late afternoon. I just planted this one last fall, and it seems to be doing well. I have it on a trellis with Venosa Violace (sorry if this is mispelled).
