Need help with an ID

Okay - so this is my clematis of many names. Each year I go to a wholesale nursery about 3 hours from my house.......This was between two signs, one for Countess of Lovelace, one for Durandii.
In looking up both types I know it's not either of them (it's not doubled like the Countess and it has more than 4 petals like Durandii).
The closest I've come to naming it is Etoile Violette, but that doesn't seem right either. It's my first bloomer of the year (compared to The Countess, Jackmanii, Jean Paul II, Ville de Lyon and Sweet Autumn) if that helps.
Any ideas?
