I bought these off of Ebay, from Bloomin' Acres. They arrived with roots and a little soil with newspaper wrapped around them. They had a decent about of green growth. I put Guernsey Cream right in the ground and the rest in one gallon pots. Last weekend I planted one of them, Daniel Deronda, in the ground. So far, so good. Claire du Lune broke off close to the soil level, so I hope she comes back. I think I spent $60 on 5 of them, including shipping. The seller let me add other ones to my order, ones that the auction would have ended several days later. I thought that was nice.

I've never bought from Donahue's but is that cheaper than they sell directly?

Clematis from Donahue's cost $10.50 retail. I can have 6 clematis shipped to me from Donahue's for $75. Your shipping charges may be higher. It's easy to enter a fake order to determine your shipping charges.

so, yes it was cheaper. :) Cool. I could not find that eBay seller either and I searched several different spellings.

I just looked on ebay for the seller and nothing shows up. The seller's name is bloomin_acres. Underscore between the words and all lower case. I put a couple more into the ground this past weekend. There is new growth on the first 2 I put in the ground, so I hope they do well.
