pruning question...

I have a Jackmini that was planted late spring of 2010. I was away from home for an extended time this spring when it should have been pruned. It is now over the top of a 5 ft trellis and just has the blooms at the top. I am planning on moving it this fall. Do I need to prune it now or wait till fall when I move it?
