Clematis for narrow space at corner of house

The northeast corner of our house has a bare space of wall about 4 feet wide between a window and the corner of the house. Centered on this part of the wall is the irrigation timer box with the tubing running to the above-ground irrigation valves below.

To hide the box, I would like to plant a Clematis vine with some shorter plants at its feet (Daylily, short rose, or ???). The area measures about 4-1/2 feet in all directions, with a large Salvia 'Indigo Spires' on one side, and the corner of the house on the other.

We already grow 4 Clematis vines elsewhere in the yard: Venosa Violacea, Polish Spirit + Minuet (together in the same hole), and Prince Charles. I'd like to add another one in this spot to climb a trellis in front of the wall, and meeting the following criteria:

-- Viticella preferred, or group 3

-- Tolerant of sun until early afternoon and reflective heat from the house in summer

-- Long blooming

-- Not too vigorous (sprinkler timer box needs to remain accessible but not visible)

What are your suggestions?
