pink champagne

I picked this one up today as I was looking for something in the 6-8' range. Of course, now I need to get a trellis (it figures, not planning on my part). What is confusing me is the the full sun or full sun/part shade location I have seen. I am considering this spot, once I pull out the weigela. It would get full sun from about noon on. If you toward the corner of my house, that is north. I would appreciate any thoughts on location, sun exposure.

Pink Champagne likes A LOT of sun. I had it in a semi-shaded location and had zero blooms. After I moved it to full sun it started growing and blooming like crazy. I think your spot would be fine as long as it gets full sun from noon on. It does not fade, which is another great thing about this one. You'll love it! Good luck!

I planted a Pink Champagne last fall in a semi shady spot (direct sun around 4 hrs a day) and it bloomed prolificly this spring. I was surprised bc it was a new plant. Maybe it depends on the zone. I'm in CT zone 6.
