Keeping fingers and toes crossed!

Well, all clemmies have done their spring show and now I have pruned them back quite a bit. Not my new clems, but the ones that were tangled viney messes! Usually then by later on this summer or early fall they have regrown quite a bit and maybe I'll get a couple more blooms off them. Pruned to about a foot or so off the ground,

Beauty of Worcester
Dr Ruppel
Crystal Fountain
Ernest Markham
Josephine

The only ones I haven't pruned for second time is my group 3's which were pruned severely in early spring

Comtesse de Bouchaud (new just planted this year)
Jackmani (new just planted this year)

Etiolle Violette
Huldine

One that I haven't touched except for her usual pruning in spring is Maria Fransiska. She is late to bloom yet and has buds still coming.
