| We always use alfalfa meal when planting clematis and all perennials. Going to use pellets for the first time as I am trimming clems hoping for some rebloom. Approximately how many pellets do you use per plant? Assuming size & maturity of plant makes a difference? If I water the pellets in with rose or tomato food, is that too much of a good thing all at once?
It was a great year for blooms until the heat wave slowed them down, hope they will regroup and bloom again. Thanks, Marlene |

| I use a handful. They are more of a soil conditioner with hormones than a fertilizer so I think it would be fine to use them with fertilizer. |
