I'm on vacation this week and seems I'm spending it planting some of my Clematis that I have had potted up wayyyyy to long. This first picture is of Miss Bateman and she has been in a pot for 3 or 4 years. Check out the root ball.She was in a 5 gal pot or large. {{gwi:612852}}

I'll add something for her to climb up on by next spring. I dug the hole well over knee deep and added about a 2 gal bucket of aged cow poo. She should be happy now. She has a sprinkles which is also a #2 planted beside her near the post. I hard pruned both of them and they should grow out new vines before frost which I hope will be around November here in middle TN. Sandy
